Hey guys! It's #GivingTuesday, an international day of charitable giving at the beginning of the holiday season where we can love our neighbors and support organizations working to improve the human condition.
#GivingTuesday is more than a hashtag; it's a way that WE CAN HELP many nonprofits meet end-of-year goals, provide for those who are hurting, and join forces to make a big impact. Below is a list of organizations that I love and support and would encourage you to support as well.

*St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital - St. Jude's is a pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases, particularly leukemia and other cancers. The hospital costs about $2.4 million a day to run, and there is no cost to the patient to be treated.
*10 Blessings Inspiration, Inc. - a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers trauma survivors, supports domestic violence victims, and serves as a spiritual community to those in search of greater hope. The org has a guiding scripture of Luke 4:18. Full Disclosure: I am the founder of this organization.
*Goodie Girl Bags - The mission is to provide our sisters in need with bras and feminine hygiene products, to take GOOD care of them and transform their lives with dignity- one woman at a time. Their guiding scripture is Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future."
*Socks Movement - Socks are the #1 item that homeless men request, and this organization, located in the Washington, DC area gives socks and other essentials items to our friends experiencing homelessness through direct street outreach.
*God-Fearing Girls - GOD Fearing Girls is a 501 (c) 3 organization, whose mission is to provide resources to all young girls and women between the ages of 11-19 that will support their success, and prepare them to succeed as well as excel in all areas of their lives.
*Dee's House of Hope - Dee’s House of Hope is dedicated to building a community unified in peace and justice where all women are freed from the generational cycle of domestic violence and fear of abuse.
*The Troubled Movement - a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to creating spiritual and educational programs, events, and activities for teens and young adults around the world. They focus on building victims of depression, abuse, financial hardship, loss, and more into survivors who will ultimately turn their pain into purpose.
*EmPowered Living International Ministries - The purpose of EmPowered Living International is to help educate, equip and EmPower Pastors, Leaders, Congregations and Individuals to live the life they were created to live. They have an ongoing mission in Siaya, Kenya, which supports an orphanage and school.
*#SantaCause for SafeShoresDC - This initiative was founded by "Mo Betta" a philanthropist in the Washington, DC area in 2012 to provide funds for Safe Shores DC to support children who have been sexually abused and exploited. Although not a 501c3, this charitable campaign is making a big impact mobilizing the hip-hop community to provide hope for abused children.
There are many more organizations that I am featuring today on my Instagram Stories, and I'll try to update them here as well.
Hey, here's an idea... let's make this list bigger. Drop your favorite nonprofit in the comments section.

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." - Luke 6:38
Update: After first posting this blog, I asked my IG family to share their favorite orgs and what happened next was amazing!
