In The Absence of Excess, Natasha T. Brown takes us on a spiritual journey where the heart of God is revealed in the simple truths of this rich African culture and its powerful and authentic Christian tradition.

Natasha the Missionary
I entered the mission field in 2019 as a theological educator at Nassa Theological College (NTC) in Tanzania. I lived in the village of Bulima for six months and quickly fell in love with the beautiful culture and students who are pastors, missionaries, and evangelists. Today, I continue to serve as a mentor and member of the teaching faculty. This mission is vitally important as NTC is the only English-teaching Bible College in Tanzania that equips ministry leaders, which means students are being trained to serve both nationally and internationally. One of the most exciting parts of this mission was starting a story group to teach Bible storying and personal storytelling. My students and I are currently working on an anthology to share their stories of surviving persecution and leaving all to follow Christ.
Please consider partnering with us in prayer and also financially to help fund theological education and the upcoming student anthology. Thank you and I look forward to partnering with you in missions and prayer. God bless you.
